Yesterday's Bible Study |
In this verse, Peter is quoting Isaiah to emphasize that while our flesh is weak, we have power through the Word of the Lord, which endures forever. While our bodies and our minds are fragile, the Bible is true and will last forever.
This means we do not have to be afraid of our circumstances today. Even though we might be facing something difficult, we know that the Lord is faithful and true. When our feelings tempt us to believe that God doesn't see us or care anything about us, we can turn to the Bible and read about how He loved us enough to send Jesus to save us.
