"Hebrews chapter 11 is often referred to as the Hall of Faith. In this chapter, we read about some of the great heroes of the faith.
These Old Testament heroes were much like we are today, but we find them especially memorable because of their faith in God.
So, what is faith? It is being certain and having complete trust in someone or something. It means that we have the action of faith before we experience the outcome that we hope for.
When these men and women, whom we consider heroes of the faith, faced difficult situations, they didn't give up. Instead, they believed God and waited for Him to fulfill the promises He had made to them. Even if they only experienced a glimpse of what God had promised, they lived a life of faith." |

Sometimes having faith means that we never see the fulfillment of God's promises in our lifetime, but we should still remain faithful. We can be assured that His promises are eternal; they last forever.
We can put all of our faith in God, knowing that if He doesn't answer our prayers while we are alive, He will still be faithful to what He has said even after we are gone. This truth is comforting to those who pray for salvation, healing, or deliverance for a loved one. When we seek God with all of our hearts and put our faith in Him, we will never be disappointed.
After all, salvation is the greatest reward we will ever receive, and it is gifted to us through our faith in God.
