| Sometimes it can be easy to fall into the snares of the evil one. We can believe the lies that we are not good enough or that our sin has somehow separated us from God. The truth and good news of Jesus is that this verse is entirely true. When Jesus shouted, “it is finished,” he meant it. Jesus did all that was necessary on the cross to ensure our relationship with God. He broke the chains, and they will forever be broken. So, if the Son of God has set you free, through you accepting his free gift of Salvation - you are forever free. Your sin has been separated from East to West and you have been adopted as a child into His family. Today is a good day! Enjoy the blessings of being free from sin, and bless those around you. |

| Jesus, thank you for the gift of salvation. Thank you that you did all that was needed to ensure that it is finished! I thank you for your life, death and resurrection. I thank you that you have shown us what it is like to live a life of freedom - a life free from sin and in a perfect relationship with God the Father. Help me to study your ways and live like you. Holy Spirit guide me today I ask. Amen |
